For the month of December, my sister made me a personal homemade advent calendar. So every day since December 1st, I have been opening a gift just for me from my sister! I forget which day these are from, but I remember that I got them right smack in the middle of finals. I couldn't resist taking the bag of kisses and some how incorporating them into some sort of recipe!
I got out the baking sheet and the parchment paper and went straight to Google to see what I could come up with. I found THE EASIEST recipe in the world for sugar cookies and ran with it!
I knew I wanted whatever I was making to be "cute" so I made went for some small cookies with little dents in the middle to leave room for the kisses to sit after the cookies were finished. So here they are in the oven, baking away:
And here we are! The easiest and cutest little cookies, with kisses on top! I sprinkled a little bit of powdered sugar on the top for a little something extra.
I liked them so much that I went out and bought some more kisses to make a few other batches! Thank you Christmas break, for giving me the time to bake as much as I want!!
