Winter Cozy Corner

It didn't take long for me to take our tiny Christmas tree down and make the switch to the winter themed cozy corner --and by not long, I mean like the day after Christmas not long. I decided instead of taking the nails out of the wall and leaving god-awful holes open until next year's stockings I would just hang something new in their place.

I don't know what it is about this shade of green and burgundy, but I just can't get enough of them! They just complement the colors in our house so well. I found these two plaques at the dollar store. The colors caught my eye first, and I'm a sucker for cheesy love quotes, so I couldn't resist!

"Life is a Journey, Enjoy it."

"Love is patient, Love is kind, Love never fails"

I'm not sure I'm completely pleased with the placement of everything yet, but this is my start.. I just can't decide if it's too cluttered or not.
Again, it includes some dollar store finds:
Candles
Place mat
The coasters are a gift I got from my mom for Christmas (they each have a different photo in them), the note book against the wall is a gift from my sister as motivation to write more often, and the snow man is all I needed for a touch of winter. Oh, and of course I couldn't leave out our family picture!
I'm sure the iPad makes it look less classy and a little too cluttered, but it was a convenient spot for it..so it's stayin!

The orange tin used to be full of chocolate...and then I ate it all --but the color seemed to match the theme with the corner so I left it there for that sake.

So there you have it --my winter themed cozy corner.

And until next time,
JustBriitt <3
