I finally did it! I learned how to crochet and I made a my very own mug cozy! If you follow this link:

In that pattern it suggests to measure a fixed spot for the button and use the button hole to secure it around your mug, BUT I decided to switch it up. I sewed a button and some white elastic right where the button hole was, and one more button on the opposite end of the cozy. I did this so I could use it no matter what size mug I use!
Ideally, I would like to make
loads of these and maybe even try to sell them some day! That may be a bit far fetched..but hey --a girl can dream, right?
